Karen Davis - Bio

Karen Davis lives in East Texas with her husband. She has two children and four grandchildren. Karen is an artist and a professional decorator, and has taught on Faux Finishing, watercolor, oil painting and children’s art classes.
Over the years Karen has kept her notes and pictures to make informative books about crafts and decorating. She also writes children’s books based on the simple things in life that small children like to hear about.

Karen taught art at an elementary school for several years and knows how much children love to create.Several of her craft books are easy enough to do projects with your children. Many of the techniques in her books are new and unique to the readers. She has combined her decorating skills with her knowledge of art and faux finishes to make her projects new and inventive.
